Hopefully, this will be a new space to show and tell some of my photos. I will be posting a photo i have created each day or sometimes an old favorite along with the story behind the photo. Technical info, challenges anything i can think of i guess. So here is the first…This is pat of a series i shot tonight, i am calling it “negative form.” As the name might imply it was a study in form using negatives…I used a thin piece of paper as a backdrop, through which i shot a Vivitar Hv-285 on a pocket wizard at 1/16 power in a DIY snoot designed to produce only a thin strip of light. The negative strip was clamped to a boom arm on a light stand and taped to the table on the other side. Nikon D300s f/8 1/250 iso200.
