A large trash pile occupies an empty lot in Flagstaff. Although the city has bulk trash collection days each month, some residents illegally dump their bulk items behind businesses or residential areas, others simply miss the days or are unaware of where and how to leave bulk items causing large piles of trash to sit near the curb until the next bulk collection day the following month.
