Quite a long week at the paper, late nights and diverse assignments. The Flagstaff Festival of Science kicked off this week, an annual Bluegrass fest went down, I saw sports and toured an artist studio…

Although the city has bulk trash collection days each month, some residents illegally dump their bulk items behind businesses or residential areas, others simply miss the days or are unaware of where and how to leave bulk items causing large piles of trash to sit near the curb until the next bulk collection day the following month.

I have had the Canon 5dMkIII in my hands for about a week, and so far it is a very serious upgrade from my previous rig. That isn’t to say I don’t have some grievances with it, but let’s start with what is good before moving onto what I don’t like/understand.
