DSLR Pinhole Photography

Yesterday afternoon while laying in bed for an afternoon siesta, I had a crazy idea to make a pinhole attachment for my digital camera body. I gathered the supplies and proceded to make it happen. The following images are what has resulted so far. They are fairly experimental in nature, no sharp focus, blurry motion, colors are off something, but that isn’t the point I guess….

Kaleidoscope Fun…

Recently a good friend sent me a small kaleidoscope as a graduation present. It is fun to look through and being me, I had to find a way to shoot a camera through it…so I did. Here are a few of the images taken through it.  Continue reading

Photos I Didn’t Take (preview)

Despite the name of this post I did take these photos, although not intentionally…I carry my camera just about everywhere with me, “never leave home without it” kind of thing. Lens Baby

Today, I received a new Lens Baby, Muse. (Thanks to Uncle Tom and Aunt June for the graduation gift) Lens Baby lenses are selective focus lenses for your SLR camera. Basically, they are cheap, fun tilt-shift lenses; great for experimental and art photography. Excited to play with my new toy, I headed out on a walk with My-Friend-Bob-Smith-Who-Lives-Downstairs, his girl friend Megan and their dog J.B.
