BigZona Burlesque

I have been working with an up-and-coming burlesque troupe here in Flagstaff. The BigZona Burlesque Project is an up and coming vaudeville burlesque-circus show slated for 2014. Although only in it’s infancy, this group of creatives is sure to delight. Check out their Facebook Page for some preview photos of everyone and to stay up to date with this project. More to come as I have it to share…

Coffee Portraits or Land of The Lost Roll pt. 4

On a recent cleaning/organizing binge I discovered several lost or forgotten rolls of film kicking around my room. Here is  a short series taken from one of those rolls…

I love coffee more than just about anything. Sharing it with friends is part of the experience that appeals to me. Here are some friends I shared coffee with sometime early last fall.

Despite the metadata the slide show tries to provide, these were all shot on my Nikon FM on Ilford Pan F+.

Something Stylish

Recently a friend wanted to do a quick photo shoot so he could have something to post on his Tumblr for a notorious Tuesday themed hash-tag. While we did get this image (it is displayed below) I admire this friend’s classic rocker style and wanted to shoot a little of that as well…click an image to enter the slideshow…

Land of The Lost Roll pt.3…FireFly Portraits

What once was lost, now is found…again…This summer I attended and photographed the FireFly Music Festival near Flagstaff, Ariz. While there I played a little with my new-at-the-time Mamiya RB67. One of the many thing that inspired my curiosity at FireFly, was the diversity of people in attendance. Everyone from school teachers to quasi-homeless ‘traveling’ types, and everyone in between. I wanted to shoot a few portraits, so I did…Click on an image to enter the slideshow…

Found this lost roll of FujiChrome in the strangest spot…exactly where I should have left it…Although I could have/wish I had shot many more, patience and weather did not permit this happening…perhaps next year…

Deserted Desert Drive

While on a recent trip into the California desert via State Rt. 62, I shot a few photos. Strange things exist in the California desert, here area  few of them…

Once again, disregard the pesky metadata provided by the slide show…all images were shot on my trusty Vivitar 35ca (which is more and more my go to travel camera) with Lomography XPro Chrome 100 film…
